High-quality, stable fuel components
Aspen D consists of high-quality, stable fuel components that are intrinsically more stable against oxidation. One of the main differences with ordinary diesel is that Aspen D does not contain bio diesel. Bio diesel is often made of RME (Rape Methyl Esters) or FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters). This raw material is mixed in an amount of between 1-7% in ordinary pump diesel, to make the diesel partially renewable. However, bio diesel is highly hydroscopic and draws water into the tank, which increases the risk of bacterial growth when the engine is left idle for long periods. With Aspen D you don’t have this problem.
